Alright kaomaris-admins what the hell have you done to the site in the last 48 hours. I can no longer get onto it from my linux-firefox computer at home though windoze-firefox is still ok.

Change it back now cause theres no way I'm paying towards Bill Gates next divorce just to get onto this site.

Just incase your interested my linux firefox believes http://www.kaomaris.com to be a 'PHTML file' and asked me do I want to save it or pick an application to open it with (firefox not being an option)

Hurry up I havea game to win

I have internet explorer, and have become extremely frustrated getting onto this site. It used to be that I could not access at work, but now I cannot access it at home, except in rare instances like this one. Something has indeed gone wrong with the site.

Yeah I had to access kaomaris through IE in a hotel I was in this week and it wasa tedious experience. I'm totally linux user and wont be on kaomaris without it working sorry.

I can accept linux only provides about 2% of the ocmputing world (though it should work) but a site that excludes 85% of the Internet population is very stupid. This site should work for all explorers and all OS's or it will die

Korexus seems to be away and I am too ignorant to sort this out. Sorry.

The problem is, absolutely nothing has changed on the WoK site. I haven't changed anything, trewqh would have mentioned and Rune and Al are away. I can try and have a look, but as I haven't done anything, I don't really know where to start. Also I start my job on Monday, so I'm a little busy right now. If anyone feels like googling for possible answers then please go ahead!

The only thing I can think of, is that the problem started when Microsoft updated my computer by installing Windows Defender. That was several weeks ago.

Hi folks.
I have the same problem as you do. I believe something has changed at the webhost, for nobody has done anything with the webpages as far as I know.

Right now I am at work and the pages work in the latest beta of firefox 2.0, and they also work properly from one of my computers at home, but I will check it out anyway.

Apparently, everything should be working normally again. The Webhost has upgraded, which caused a few problems and may have been the reason for the forums sticking. In a related piece of news, the GM's game screen now works again, so we should be able to start new games. Sorry to anyone who applied to Mike's game and until now hasn't been able to be added.

Please shout up if anytihng else goes wrong!

Aha. Back on at last. I just kept getting a message about nuke.php

What was the message?

*Still trying to trace what causes Windows IE to slow down randomly on the forums, but nothing else.*

*And don't say it's because IE sucks anyone, that doesn't help fix the problem!*

Can't remember the actual messgae but it wanted me to save a nuke.php, even when i did though it didn't actually do anything.

sounds like your browser wasn't recognising the .php extension. Not sure why that would happen, but as you can view these forums now, it was probably a temporary glitch. Changing the banners seems to have fixed the other forum problem, so hopefully everything will work now!
