Introducing Bean

Post by korexus » Mon Jul 11, 2005 3:06 pm

The Scholars have taken in a new player, if the Lobby is working properly he'll be turning up in a WoK Online game pretty soon. (This is the first time I haven't tried doing anything manually so there may be issues, but hopefully not.) Everyone give a big hello to Bean.

oh, i see i'm a bit late revealing myself... thanks, korexus.
what to say about myself - found WOK really by chance - following some links from the net. then checked the beginners links here and thought it must be a great game to play (i hope i can do it too). other than that, squares in group#9 will be my first PBEM and i'm already looking forward to it. now reading a bit in the forums here i get the feeling i've found the place with the right spirit. thanks, scholars for adopting and taking care of me, hannibal and nestalawe for providing some baits for strangers to the game, and dark monk for providing the game.
bean

allister, i don't have any children. unfortunately.

Welcome Bean.

Let me just inform you that you have entered here during what is normally called "the summer slowdown". All summers except for one have been REALLY slow until people get back from vacations and such.

If you feel that nothing happends or that no posts are being made in the forum I advise you to stick around since it will heat up somtime in August.

Heidielberg? *Looks at Xarfei* Not another one. Ok, ok, I know, dont mention the war bla bla bla

hi guys,

yes, duke, i think i realize about the summer slowdown - ok, it leaves me some more time to just read the boards.
i'm actually bulgarian. i've been studying in HD for the last couple of years so i'm really ok with the war bla bla. although we were allied with the germans in both world wars  . yes, in the beginning when i came here i was making some jokes about the war too but noone here really found it funny. and maybe it's not indeed.

bulgarian women, sure i've heard jokes about them. the most women jokes however make fun of the blondes...
but i'll be curious to hear one about bulgarian from you

oops duke, zero games together with you and you've already brought me in trouble with the scholars. :deal: i have to be careful...

has anyone told you that you bear a striking resemblance to Rowan Atkinson?
ah yes, rowan, the actor - i talked to him at the wedding of charles and camilla and asked him - what's all that makeup and special effects he used in his sketches to make himself look like me so good. you know, in real life he's just a normal man::mrbanana: ...and talks a lot more.

p.s. i'm afraid i can't figure it out how to include that fancy "korexus wrote:", or "yarosund wrote:". i hope i will be excused...

Hit the quote button at the top of a post if it's just for one person. Otherwise write 'quote="name"' inside the square brackets, instead of just 'quote'. Easy as that! :)
