I am going to open one this weekend. I'm just debating on whether to open a WOK4 or WOK5 game. Here's my argument...

WOOKIE is going to replace all Manually GMed games VERY soon. The argument against that is that it's not out yet. Any thoughts? Better make it quick cause if it's WOK5 then I already have a map picked out that I've never seend but looks kinda interesting.

There haven't been ANY new wok 4 games in a long time and there are quite a few wok 4 players who aren't even in any real games at the moment. Compare this to wok 5 which had 4 or 5 new games open in the last 6 weeks or so, so that makes the choice easy.

I think wok-on is still at least a month away, so another month of no wok 4 games...i think we're definitely will start losing people then.

That's OK, if we're losing WOK 4 players it doesn't really matter, they're all a bunch of luck-loving n00bs anyway.

I'm pretty sure WOK5 is nothing without the so-called Luck Loving n00bs filling the ranks

And I think WOK:ON is more like 1-2 weeks away.

Dameon I like you a lot better when you dont talk. even if you are joking I still think your a dick. did that come out right? yeah. It's those kinds of statments that continue to drive me away from wok.

Dameon's kind of comments are exactly the type of comments that drive a lot of players away.

In case you haven't noticed, Dameon, there is not currently a plethora of WOK activity in the community. I actually believe that this is the slowest time that I can remember seeing. Kaomaris used to be a hotbed of activity, and to be quite frank, it has gotten EXTREMELY boring without constant new blood flowing in. It's been barely worth dropping in every few days, let alone everyday.

I know it just pisses me off to see such incredibly stupid comments but I fear if I keep going I am throwing myself into that category

I am usually on Calidus side but I have to back Nick up here. It is only due to history that you come down on him for that comment. If anyone else would have posted it you would have put it down as a joke and bantered a bit in good spirit.

I cant for the life of me understand how you could react that strongly to a line like that. Heck I could have posted it myself just to banter and to keep the boards alive.

I can side with both Dameon and Warped on this one...

Everytime wok 4 comes up, Dameon has to rip on it and it players for playing a luck game. Truthfully, he's just mad cause he never gets lucky (in more ways than just wok) and doesn't win any games.

Now...wok 5, there is still luck involved. If there was no luck involved, Dameon would win every game.

Warped...although Dameon did rip on wok 4, I think he just did it in fun to get a flamer going. That's the kinda guy he is, a flamer

I have to agree with Calidus though...it's gotten extremely boring here the last month or so...BORING!

Before you know it i might even click on one of the game advertisements we now seem to have on the Kaomaris site and join another game.

Come on guys open a new game (i'm not going to because i don't want to disappoint the players by being a crap gm again) even if it's wok 5 i at least can sign up and annoy somebody for 2-3 turns or so.

How about you GM a game, and try to be a good GM? I really do dislike when players beg for games but do not contribute.....
