I suspect it means exactly what it says.....

That YOU have to update them with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
There's no need to fear...........

lol... Good Work UD. If all that is needed is to add the finish bonuses for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, I think I can figure it out... when I get time to update the ratings.

Ah, I thought I was being made fun of as usual. Wait......I was!

Yes, all you need to do is give them the bonus for 1-2-3 and you are set. Do I really need to update the page for that?

My group 8 has ended with Lord Fredo taking 2 VP's for himself. It was an interesting game and I think those that made it through enjoyed it. Hopefully the next one doesn't have so many drop out of it.

Congrats LF.

:) That's for me to know and you to find out now Mr D. 8)
Nah seriously though this was probably my first "cheep" victory but then most of us seem to have had them so I guess it was my time. It sure was strange to see Dark Monk and Saladin go M-3 like that.

Cheap victories? Dont think I have experienced that. I've done cheap mistakes, cheap underestimations, cheap typos, cheap NAP-breaks but nope no victories.

You might recall the time when I recruited a group of people to my clan? We were like 6 in the champs that year and naturally we didnt win since Massie, Raw and Egbert were 3 of the other four.

Sooo, what clan are allies with Raw, Egbert and Massie???? Oh, you mean JOIN that clan so I automatically ally with them. Well what fun would that be? I prefer being allied with some and on the top 3 of the score list until the endgame when everyone ends their NAP's with me and I find myself biting a pillow getting screwed. I am still working on why I prefer this but I'll get back to you on that one.

My group 36 is over, and 1.5 VPs each goes to Undertaker and Xarfei and their respective clans. This game proved two things to me:

1) Never use the no-player-without-a-city rule
2) Four players working together can usually ensure a victory

Thanks for playing, all!

My Group#01-Deutschland is over. Donut (BoV) and Thin King (TFF) share the game, i.e. 1.5VPs each.

Rating changes:
TK: +0.105 (joined 1st) +0.03 (1 Rip) = +0.135
Donut: +0.105 (joined 1st) +0.03 (1 Rip) = +0.135
Korexus: +0.06 (3rd)
Lord Fredo: +0.03 (4th)
Allister Fiend: +/- 0 (5th)
Raw: +/- 0 (6th) +0.06 (2 Rips) -0.3 (getting Riped) = +0.03
Nestalawe: -0.03 (7th) -0.03 (getting Riped) = -0.06
Massielita: -0.06 (8th) -0.03 (getting Riped) = -0.09
Smashface: -0.09 (9th) -0.03 (getting Riped) = -0.12
Dameon: -0.12 (10th) -0.03 (getting Riped) = -0.15

If anyone spots a mistake let me know!
(Massie went M-3 and since he was one of the first 5 to go out suffers the penalty for getting Riped without anyone getting a bonus)

Well played everyone!

GM Ryan Group 11 is now over.

1 VP for Xarfei and 1 VP for Grave Makers. That makes 2 VP's for the Scholars.

Good game to everyone who played in it.

GM Fredrik's Group 11 is now over.

Thin King of The first family and Xarfei from the Scholars share victory with 1,5 VP's each to show for it.

Rating changes are according to the group page.

Thanks Fredo for GMing the game! Also, thanks again for picking up the game after you had to leave it for a while.

I think a few of the rating changes are incorrect. All the rating changes for players coming 10th-6th are correct but some of the rest are slightly wrong.

Raw came 5th (+0.000), he did not Rip anyone and was not one of the first 5 Rips (hence his total change should be 0.000 not -0.030). Underdog came 4th so his rating change should be +0.030 not 0.000 (looks like you forgot twice that only the first 5 Rips count towards rating). Funty's rating change is correct as far as I can see (+0.060). My rating change (shared 1st) should be the average of 1st and 2nd place (+0.120 and +0.090), i.e. +0.105 and not +0.090. TKs basic rating change is the same, plus he gets a bonus for two of his four Rips; thus his rating change should be +0.165.

I think the rating rules are rather complicated, I've made several mistakes before and probably made some more above.

You are probably right about most of your remarks. I did miss that only the first 5 RIPs count but I'm not sure if there really is a rule for a "shared first place". I just winged it and went with using the score for second place rather than a single win.
In any case I hope that anyone that cares can get the information they need from my group page and if not I'd be happy to answer any questions.

When I get a chance to update the ratings I'll let you know what I need to know to get it all straightened out.

Both of my games have now ended as well.

Stone Age: Group 11
Korexus and Xarfei of the Scholars each get 1.5VPs each.

Lost Empire: Group 9
Duke and Aussie Gaz share the victory and 1.5VPs each.
