Well someone could always run an X-game with no naps allowed. That migt be interesting for those of us who like going at it alone.

In such a game as that there is no doubt in my mind that NAPs would still be made, if only "behind the scenes". It's really an impossible rule to enforce, when you think about it.

unless the NAP system is embedded into the game, into the code, in the orders, into the complete mechanism of the game, to bind people into formal alliances or NAPs. unless, of course, people prefer to put everything to trust and don't mind the occasional argument when someone accidentally (or on purpose) breaks their agreements. But that's all part of the fun, isn't it? Personally, I enjoy the NAP-breaking and the arguments, but there is an alternative for the faint-hearted if they dare to take it up
