Thanks again Roland, really enjoyed the game, think the best map and concept I've played on.

And maybe, perhaps, you'll see a little action as there are 3 provinces between us in Clan Champs

Conspiaring against Korexus, why what do you mean?

Yeah, thanks Roland. It was fun! I'd like to know who would have won too. Funtastick and I have now exchanged turn reports and it was pretty close...

I actually suggested your True Vertical map for the clan champs but it seems it wasn't to be...

Save me a space on your next game, hope it's something as unusual as the rest :)

Well, I figure it's kinda redundant to post this, but here it goes. My group 29, Magical Mayhem, has just finished. 1.5 VPs each go to Bjorn Toulouse, playing for CoN, and Aussie Gaz, for TKG. It was a very tough field and well played all around by everybody who joined. It was a fun game to watch- great work to all players and kudos to the victors!

OK, another update. My group 30 is now finished, and emerging victorious are Count Henri of the Scholars and Lardmaster of Thuggee with 1.5 VPs each. Well played game to everybody who was in it, especially Crazy Psycho and Smashface for making it all the way till the end.

With two of my games ending and the Champs down to less than half the players, I will be opening another WOK 5 X-Game in the very near future, so keep your eyes open folks!

Wow! A game that was actually played to completion. What's it been? Almost 2 months now? Other than the GM Paul games that the GM committee adjucated, it has been pretty quiet around here.

What about Val Noir? I hear rumors that Strider and Calidus have shared a victory in that game, but the gatekeeper has received no official email notification. Calidus has mentioned this to Bjorn in some of our clan email, but the Gatekeeper really needs to hear from the GM before I will record it.

Busy tonight, but I should be able to update the web pages this weekend.

Bjorn,

Duke is away on vacation until early next week. He has stated on his page that the game is over and you can make the necessary adjustments to the scoring pages. Otherwise, I believe he will be emailing you an "official" notice once he returns from his fun in the sun.

Yep, Val Noir is over. I dont know the Gatkeepers official adress so I am posting the confirmation right here. It is a shared victory between Calidus and Strider.

Good game all of you.

Laking It! (GM Egbert's Group 1)

Post by Egbert » Thu May 22, 2003 1:59 pm

My Group 1 is over. SmashFace of The Kaomarian Guard takes home all 3 VPs, winning with the 8-city rule. (I think I will eliminate that option in future games --- it seems too easy.)

Thanks to all for playing! :)

Well you should know, shouldn't you? I still grit me teeth over a game where you beat me and GH with the help of that pesky little rule.

Lord Fredo,

If it makes you feel any better, Bicco and I stole one from Eg and Massie a LOONNGGG time ago, thanks to that rule. :)
