The first time I watched the Wall, I saw it on video, and I was left wondering what everyone made such a big deal about.

After I left the military, I got the chance to see that movie at a midnight showing at our local theatre. After a little attitude adjustment before the movie, I actually think I understood. Man, was that a LOOONG time ago....

Yeah!
i have watched it a few times over the years with attitude adjustment and with whatever you want to call it when you are running on regular fuel.

i noticed different things each time- I have figured it's about slowly going crazy, and coming to understand that people know you are crazy. that is what pushed him over the edge. being exposed before your peers-bringing down the wall, that he had built around himself brick by brick.
blocking everything and everyone out. maybe when it hits you all at once, instead taking each moment as it comes, it overwhelms the soul, I don't know

also that little military hallucination he was having, was exactly what his father died fighting against. When he shaved his head, and eyebrows, and chest, and how he played it out with his broken instruments and money, and other bits of debris on the floor, like a boy playing war with toys, that was over the edge!

Anyway, I'm not a fanatic. I do like Pink Floyd, and I like this Avatar to represent my name in this game. The Marching Hammers.

that is me this is zed 8)

Cow gloves? Is that what they are? :P

Lol when she runs after my precious little avatar girl i doubt she'll get far. She's more likely to get knocked unconscious when one of those 'tennis balls' hits her in the face. :P

Al, your avatar looks about 50.

I mean, the grey hair, sagging breasts, what do you see in her?
