you could always go get some paint and paint the wires if you are bored.
The color is easy it is the same as the neutral on the other outlet.
There's no need to fear...........

Donut, if you get bored type "life" in the command line. You get hours of entertainment watching those little dots whiz round. *

Duke your putty will be fine, just don't expect the ventilation to get rid of any carbon monoxide floating arround. The electricity sounds alright but you could probably do with checking every wire with one of those voltmeter/ammeter doodahs just to be sure...
