Early announcement and pre-signup on GIBSON (beta#6)
This thread is to announce that we are currently planning the time schedule to kick off GIBSON, the sixth WOK SP beta.
It will launch as soon as Rune has finished rewriting the main engine code (1-2 weeks). You should use this thread to signup for it already.
Some important changes will be tested this time:
* 15 minutes Turns, easing the burden and stress to place orders
* optimized map size (strictly limiting the space to 40%-50% players) according to pre-signups
* TEAM/CLAN GAME - 3 members per Clan should sign up together and also actively play together
* mercs and non-allied players will be grouped in TEAMs of 3 for the game
* manual grouped placement of the Players on the map
* still aiming for 3024 Turns
Please use the other new thread to discuss changes you want to see within GIBSON and how to make the game more lively. More infos as soon as I have them !

@Hamster: if we make this a TEAM/CLAN war the winner could be either the top scorer of a team or the team with the best total scores combined.
In fact I believe WOK SP will only show its full potential when it comes down to a team effort. Assign tasks to your mates (one protects the food sources, one hunts, one spies the map etc.) and fight together to win the crown of the jungle.
Maybe this is something we seriously should consider - orient the game towards teamplay. More on this in the other thread.
