Almost 10 species in the jungle now... check by choosing a "Hunt" order - this will allow you to see all competing species in the options section.

We will try to improve feedback to the Players and make a few more things work before the game kicks off tomorrow evening.

You can join even after the game has officially started in case you missed it so far, no problem really.

Beware of the rumoured green rats that Dark Monk is commanding in the north....

I've joined up , with my grey wildcats (though theyre funny-looking wildcats, as they don't appear to have any arms or legs yet......).

At first I thought it was weird to start a game without knowing any of the rules...... A bit like being shown how the pieces move in chess, but nobody mentioning anything about taking pieces or checkmate........ Then I thought, yes, it's weird...but weird is good

So you might want to keep us in the dark, or feed us bits of clues....up to you:
1) Can two species ever occupy the same square?
2) Can you eat other species, or attack them, or both?
3) What's the benefit of roaming?
4) Does "hunt" = attack if it's another species?
5) Does "move" move ALL of your specimens, thus vacating the square you leave?
6) What does "indifference" do?

I don't mind if you don't give answers, just thought I'd start the ball rolling......

Am I now waiting for something else to happen before we start , or should I submit my queue of orders now, to be used when the game starts tomorrow ?

In fact, is there a page of rules somewhere, that I'm the only one to have missed ??

No rules, I think Al wants to make it a "discover-as-you-go" type thing.

Now we get to the important bit. Someone has messed up my javascript!

That someone is "Strider's Mutt" who controls species 19, 20 and 21 in the jungle. I'm assuming from the name and above posts that this is Strider.

This causes huge problems because of the apostraphe which, in javascript is used for quotation. Resulting in none of the order submission form working anymore. Therefore I'd like to request everyone signs up for Kaobase V2 without apostraphes from now on. Hopefully Mullog can remove the offending species from the game without us having to reset it... Until that happens no one can do anything, sorry guys.

Nice, seems like Strider already messed up the order entry with his apostrophe - hehehe, Rune likes these kind of challenges.

Maybe he wil also clear up the double entries, otherwise I kindly ask you to possibly only play ONE species each.

This was just what I hoped for! Lost of questions and a challenge.

I will remove all the Strider's Mutt species. The ' does indeed make trouble for the javascripts. Just to make sure we dont get this problem in the future, I will add a warning to the New Player page if you try to use a name with illegal characters.

You are not allowed to play more than one species in a jungle. The reason you managed to add three species was the ' again. It completely fooled the procedure that checks it!

Underdog: Have you still not gotten any mail? One should be sent, for you have been registered as a player. I see that you use hotmail. Could it be that the mail has been stopped by some filter? Let me know if you still miss the email and I will regenerate your password and send it to you myself.

That's right...nobody should be allowed to be a MONKEY except me!
