The Secret: A Treasure Hunt

Post by Egbert » Tue Jan 27, 2004 11:08 pm

I don't know if I mentioned this before --- I may have mentioned it to only a few people. I am currently immersed in a fascinating treasure hunt that you can do from your own home. All you have to do is follow the links below:

http://www.armchair-treasure-hunt.com/c ... secret.htm

http://www.quest4treasure.co.uk/public_ ... /index.htm
http://www.quest4treasure.co.uk/yabb/cg ... ard=Secret

It's a book which I bought in 1982. I worked on the puzzle for a few years, forgot about it for about 15 years, and then found the book again. I searched the web to see if I could find a solution, and I found that the treasure hunt was still on!

Anyone who would like to join in on the hunt is more than welcome! Just register for the messageboard, and post your ideas!

Can I call you Indy now?

Good thing there werent any :007: there since you would then have :skull: and become an  and then :grinking: would have had to come and kick the :007: butt.

WOW! Incredible!

Are you going to search for the remaining ten treasures, or is one treasure enough?

Congratulations! :D

Thanks all. Yes, I've been pretty busy with The Secret. Yes, that's me, Blinky!

I thought I was done after I found this, but my friend Andy has become just as obsessed as I was, so I am at least going to help him find his treasure (if I can). Feel free to join in the hunt on the quest4treasure bulletin board. There are still 10 treasures left! :bluethumb:

Wow, now that's dedication if you ask me. Really good show, Eg. Or should I say, "Grand Master of All Games"? Ehehe.....fits, though. You must have a very understanding wife. 8)

Another article, but from the Bergen Record --- one of New Jersey's largest newspapers --- it made the front page (you will have to register first, though :( ):

Here is a supplementary article which accompanied it:
