Just been off trawling the net for the works of William Blake and I have to say I am both impressed and humbled.
That two of WOK's honourable peeps would mistake my own work for that of Blakes is indeed high praise.
Think I must have had a lot in common with this impoverished artist.
Who knows perhaps my drawings, paintings, stories and poems will be worth something 150 years after I'm dead! Ain't life a swine!

Kor, i am surprised that you are surprised by me being a cultured individual, i am a huge Blake fan and i like to think of myself as a very cultured individual. anyways, i have no ability to create a poem of my own, i am one of the worst creative writers around, so i must confine myself to studying other's works, oh well

Smashy, I am suprised that you are suprised that I am... wait, this could go on all day.
Just kidding, I know that 'Red Dragon' made Blake famous enough that even some of you guys on the wrong side of the pond would read some of his work.
Isn't it about time we had another US vs World flamer?
korexus.

Run what turn? Your duel? It'll run automatically at the top of the hour once both of you have marked yourselves ready for it.Vortan wrote:Look run the turn already!

The Scoring System by Vortan
Twas a day not long past when an idea came
On how to reform players victory point claims
The idea was quite good so Saladin said
Now is the time to start with its own thread
Then it began the latest debate
Score systems and rankings kept them arguing late
Europe through daylight and the yanks through the night
If it wasn't by email there'd have been a fight
No Vortan, cried korexus for the thousandth time
Your driving me mad going down this line
Now here's what I say and he laid out the plan
And all the world over, silence it rang
Realisation dawned on the Kaomaris band
A decision had been reached one that all could stand
They'd give it a trial and tweak as need be
From the silence of cyberspace they all sighed with releif
And now with that battle over peace is restored
Until one of the members says God I am bored
Then from boredom arises a new bright idea
But no one is sure whether to cry or to cheer
But of that idea all I will say
Is that if its not a good one then PLEASE take it away!

The darkness is dawnin,
Thats my personal warning.
Better hide away before i pay.
Off i lurk
Behind the scene,
Hoping the brightness shows it mean.
As 6:30am creeps up,
i put tea in a cup,
Eat the toast,
Before being a boast.
as 8:00am arrives,
i leap out of my chair,
and press the button,
of to sleep my computer go's,
until 3:30pm when im returning,
and stop myself from burning.
I rush about,
to do all my turns,
all the way Dragonette learns,
the masters of maths,
the masters of english,
The masters of science.
They lecture away,
about a big buffet,
then when no-one arrives they cry,
and wonder why.
So they eat their way through the pile of junk,
end up getting so fat they stop being a hunk.
Go's back to the computer,
and wonder who was the looter,
nicked all my POP,
and they started having a BOP.
The cheek of it all,
Was an order too tall,
it wouldn't even fit down the hall,
so why should this poem go to the ball?
