Apparently the word is vulva and it's Euro-talk for where you put your who-who dilly...

It is latin and the Romans probably came up with it like 2500 years ago. That is why it is sort of the same in all languages. It is a medical term for....hm.....yes well where you put your peepee. Except for you Raw. A thermos with macaroni and cheese has no real name in latin that I know of.

Probably based in some sort of description for round. Volvo is latin for "I am rolling" which also has to do with round stuff (wheels).

Back me up here Brits. I cant possibly be the only one who is familiar with vulva.

Oh, an episode of Seinfeld is even based on it. Some girlfriend of Jerry is named something that rhymes with a bodily organ and he guesses "Mulva".

Off course I've heard of it. I thought Donut was just referring to that it was hard to hear because of the sound not being so good. I never guessed that the word was not known ...

I imagine most people have heard of it, but Donut's mom still uses terms like 'who-who dilly' when he can hear...

@Duke, OED has 'vulva' as being the latin for 'wrapper'. I thought you might find that iteresting/amusing. While I was there I checked out macaroni and, believe it or not, it does come from a latin word. So, with thermos being a trade name, you could say "Thermos qui caseus macaronis plenus est". Of course, this is literally translating 'macaroni cheese', which probably isn't what a roman (or indeed a classicist) would do but I'm neither, so I don't care...

Actually latin 'vulva' (also 'volva') stands for the uterus (another latin word) of a female pig, not of a woman. And you certainly don't 'put your peepee' that far.

Ok, who's searching the net for this one?

OED gave vulva (and volva) as wrapper, uterus or womb however wrapper was the only funny one. It didn't say anything about pigs are you sure the romans made the distinction? As for your last point, I guess it just depends how big the 'peepee' is (sorry, just had to beat Raw & co. to the punchline...)

Back to the point, there is no way I'm searching google for 'vulva' from a college computer. It's someone else's turn!

lol, would be funny to hear you explain why you are searching for that. "Eeeh this Swedish guy sent me a link to a musicvideo about a guy in funny pants who sings about...well a song anyway and then an American didnt know what one of the words were so we discussed it in a forum of a game...well a game I play on my own time....anyway this Polish guy said...."

You cant beat Raw to a punchline like that. And if you do, I will still be miles ahead before you get your chance. Leave the who-who-dillys to the adults like me and Raw who has jobs and contribute to the sociaty.

I have this latin-polish dictionary at home, that was my source.

Btw, I have a course on latin in my college, quite interesting. It doesn't neccessarily help studying English, but it does show how similar polish grammar is to latin grammar.

I remember having a short discussion about latin grammar with BR.... Those were the days
