The problem with all those spyware programs is that they're always lagging behind and not a single one defends or finds all the spyware. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to catch spyware/addware these days. Just visiting sites without doing anything else can get you infected and no it's not only shabby sites that will get you infected.
I've heard about a good spyware removal program, it combines multiple removal programs, like ad aware. it's called hitman pro, but an NL site so probably none of you would understand

Rather than make a new thread I'm just gonna add to Dookies...
Ok, my roomate has to have his computer reimaged as he graduates. This will take EVERYTHING off of it. When they give it back to him it won't have any programs worth having on it, such as Office. Is there a way to put an image of his computer as it is now onto a CD so that when it is reimaged, he can re-reimage it to what it was?

Nope... when something goes wrong we just get it reimaged. It's faster and it gives us all the updates.

Well there are of course programs that let you make images, but i doubt that his whole hard disk fits on a cd or even a couple of cd's.
A couple of dvds might do it.
Might want to use a second hard disk, which would be the easiest i guess.

Isnt Norton Ghost a program that does this? I just guessing here.
I am of no real use to you. Remember "Lost"? I did get to see that show btw but on my laptop screen and Media Player couldnt play it so I had to install a Polish freeware.
Now I have a S-video cable and two aux cables from my laptop to my scart input on my TV. Sound is perfect. Contrast etc is perfect. It is however black and white!!! And I cant get it to switch to color.
