X-Game: Citadels

Hi guys i have an idea for and X-game. This idea is for WOK4 but could also work on WOK5 with some adaptation.

There are 6 citadels on the map. The map consists of 6 islands with 10 provinces each. From each island the GM chooses one prov to be the citadel. These have 300 POP and the rest have normal POP(50-130). To win a game you must control all 6 citadels or shared victory is where two players have 3 each. Also in the commentary the GM announce which players have a citadel and how many. For the shared victory option the GM will allow the all the players 1 turn to take a citadel therefore breaking the partnership.

I would like to hear your opinions on this and any suggestions etc.

Do you mean that the location of the citadels at the beginning of the game will be known only to the GM?

Yep thats right

the only way to find out where the Citadels are is by conquest, and unless you are the first person to the Citadel(can tell by the 300 POP) you wont know which is the Citadel and the only clue to that will be the announcement by the GM that you have a Citadel, so if you take one prov in that turn and get a Citadel then obviously that is the Citadel(and to other players also).

I think it will be interesting as other players that have been conquered by you can then help other players by giving the location (which a good player will try to keep secret :wink: ).
