Yeah, they decided that putting a mirror of the entire wikipedia site on the secure network was a good idea. I'm sure it's cost millions from lost work time... but who's going to complain about it?

Lord Vortan the Red Viper of House Martell was wondering ... HOW LONG DO YOU LOT INTEND TO DELAY MY MESSENGERS? I urge you to allow them to return with all speed, preferably with both their lives AND a reply!

 'Bloomin' Northerners.'

Maybe if your "messengers" didn't carry so many sharp objects and exotic poisons, we'd be more ready to talk with them...

Now look here Lord of Targaryen. Just because the Scholars and Valn Ohtar have dragons don't you start too.

I should just like to point out that my troops have been issued fire retardent armour, they also have been coated with some of the noxious poisons refered to by korexus earlier so you had best tell your dragons not to eat my men.

My diplomacy is going to be extremely stunted until tomorrow night, my wife went into labor last night and delivered today, I'm only typing this while passing through to get more clothes for the kids. Pictures and details about child will be on my site probably tomorrow night. Gotta run!

:D Congratulations! (About flippin' time!) :D

We, that is TheDragon, Dragonette and myself would like to wish all of you good health, and just for you MANY more sleepless nights

Just one question though ... WHAT IS IT? (and DON'T say it's a BABY!) :P

Hannibal has said that he definitely isn't playing in this game. Just wondering if we should all hold off for a while. It's going to pretty hard for Sal to find someone willing to step in *after* we've all done our diplomacy, so presumably he's going to have to re-run turn 0...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I have already written 12 pages based on this flippin' diplomacy so DONT YOU DARE!

Just extend it a little (or run Greyjoy YOURSELF - BUT HONESTLY) but please, please dont re-run... please.

Hey we can just... remove him from the game and have nobody play Pyke. I'd have no problem with that :D

'Word reaches the Lords of Southern Westeros that a Sunami has hit House Greyjoy and washed them away!'

Not a bad idea TB, I might be able to work that into my literary masterpiece :P

The trouble is getting the ref to agree... Sal (creep, creep ..)

Seriously though has Brykovian agreed to play? Or do we go on without Greyjoy.

No need for a rerun, especially since all the starting provinces and such would be the same.

I've already contacted an interested player for house Greyjoy, but he asked for a little time to decide. I will probably hear from him tonight. So there will be somebody to play the Greyjoy position.

No, it's not Bryk. Though he did offer to take the place if nobody else could be found.

Let's see if you guys can guess who it is.

Well ... my first choice would probably be Duke but as he is going to his wilderness retreat shortly it is unlikely to be him. No, that means either Hryl or Mullog.

I am going to plump for Hryl.

Well... uhh... that's alot.

I've got like... 3 sentences on diplomacy. Then again I've slept like 7 of the last 48 hours, so anything I write wouldn't be good.

TB. I just kinda get carried away with myself. My only quandry as far as this storyline is how in the name of everything holy or otherwise am I supposed to bring MISSILES into a genre of swords, horses and EEK .. Dragons.

How would everyone feel about being blitz bombed by giant eagles? Do you think I could get away with that since Lord Calidus seems to have monopolised the fiery beasties already.

Well it could be either from arrows, trebuchet or ballista. Or if you're Targaryen you could have your dragons do a firy fly-by. :D

With the thoughts of Dragons flying over head and burning the whole city to the ground Lord Vortan suddenly invents the FIRE BRIGADE to look after the place while he ... err ... that's it ... while he visit's a sick uncle in Inverness.
