Which game should I run?

Post by Xarfei » Tue Nov 01, 2005 4:09 pm

Greetings,

I have decided to run another WOK5 game (I mean Advanced WOK game). This will be my third and I don't really mind which I will run so I leave it up to the players to decide. Here are a few options:

1) Standard WOK5 game using one of the standard maps such as:
a) Europe
http://www.angelfire.com/games5/gmwippo ... europe.jpg

b) Dreadmorgue
http://www.angelfire.com/games5/gmwippo ... morgue.jpg

c) World
http://www.angelfire.com/games5/gmwippo ... /world.jpg

d) Chaotic

Possibly I could allow players to choose their starting tribe / spell

2) A game for beginners! If there are a not enough it could be a beginner + veteran player game or a game for players who have never won a wok 5 game.

3) Two Islands
http://www.angelfire.com/games5/gmwippo ... lands.html

Clanmates would start on opposing Islands.

4) 10 Kingdoms vol.2
http://www.angelfire.com/games5/gmwippo ... _vol2.html

5) Any other new map that someone has in hand.

These are the options that I have in mind, feel free to post if you have any new/different ideas/suggestions/comments.
Also post here if you want to play / which map you would prefer.

PS:I just noticed that if you want to view the four upper maps you have to copy and paste the link; just clicking on it will not result in you seeing the map (thanks to angelfire.com).

FYI, the links don't seem to be working to the standard maps. Anyway, out of the four standard games, I really like the European map the most. For the special games, I don't like the 10 kingdoms map (not enough plains), but the two islands one looks intrigiuing.

Dameon, check the PS. If you copy and paste the links they work, but angelfire seems to have som sort of direct link blocker. Unusual, but there you go...

Hmm, only four players have voted so far, I guess there is only a very weak demand for a Wok5 group....

May the two newbies get into this action under my supervision? Just asking here, I know it is against the rules.

I don't see a problem with that.
