New game for you!

Ok, as promised I've worked through the rules of a few new X-Games for you all. As Nick isn't sure when he can start up his game and Josh hasn't replied (Are you ill, D-man? I make that almost 24 hours without you constantly scanning the site! ) I'm giving an option of 2 WoK IV X-Games and 2 WoK V. Sites are now in place for all of them, so here we go.
1) Missilemania
WoK IV X-Game.
As this was runner up last time round I thought I'd offer it to you again. Province numbers are jumbled up so that long range missiles can come from just about anywhere. Players will also start with some missiles although they can't fire them at a player on the first turn.

2) Second Home
WoK IV X-Game.
Originally designed as a WoK V X-Game for Nick's "Trade Wars" map, I figured this could work reasonably in WoK IV as well. Played on the original map, each player may pick a second province to add to thier empire after turn 0 has run. This province will then start with level 1.3 armies but will not count as a home province (so no extra def, no spies and it can be attacked on turn 1). Players will pick in reverse order of ranking in order (hopefully) to give new players a helping hand. Each player will also start with 50 tech points. Allowing for a 4th attack on turn 1.

3) City of Gold
WoK V X-Game
A continuation of some of the ideas from Xarfei's "10 Kingdoms" map in this game there will be an extra win condition. Any player who holds the central province in 70 for 2 complete turns (so not counting the turn it was taken) will automatically win the game. However, the city is surrounded by deserts which cannot be crossed by any player with a tech level lower than 15 and anything left in the deserts at the end of the turn will die (although ownership is retained). Also the province type of the city is unknown (and possible changing throughout the game, if I'm in a mean mood) so upgrades are unlikely to help.
If this game is chosen, it may be necessary to reduce the VPs awarded for the alternative win condition to 2. If everyone thinks it's too easy...

4) Grudgematch.
WoK V X-Game.
Inspired by Baron Roland waaay back and talked over my TK, Xarfei and myself many times since. In this game, there are 5 islands with 12 provinces. Each of these will have 2 players on at the start. When a player eliminates his opponent, bridges will open up allowing passage to the next island - whether the occupants of that place have finished their fighting or not. Ideally I'd like player's joining up in pairs for this one. - Especially if they banter together often on the boards. I will try to line up individual players with opponents of roughly equal skill.
